Abstract |
The article treats a very important problem of so called,
Content and Language Integrated Learning, and especially it
concerns the History teaching in foreign language, as a part of it.
The concrete object of the research, are the textbooks of History,
used in the Bulgarian schools for learning the subject in English.
The analysis of the last used and current issues admits, drawing of
basic conclusions and recommendations, how to design and structure
such textbooks for effective use in practice. The main criteria and
requirements of a good textbook of History in English are defined
here.
