Abstract |
In this work, the authors present the results of the
investigations done with the teachers from the primary schools in
Shtip, Republic of Macedonia. The inquiry is a part of a research
done to determine the level of teachers' readiness to accept the
new trends of computer usage in the education (complete integration
in each phase of educational process) and the conditions under
which these changes are expected to be more successful. From the
results of the inquiry, two basic conclusions could be made: -
There is a need of special teacher training for the implementation
of the new educational programs and information technologies in
education, with effective use of the computers; - Younger teachers
(in the first half of their work period) are more prepared for
implementing of the new educational technologies, with extensional
use of the information technologies and computers.
