Title State Regulation of the Policy for Protection of Consumers in the Republic of Bulgaria
Authors Dr. Raya Koleva

Abstract

The effective protection of consumers does not finish only with the various rights of consumers, given by the law for protection of consumers, or with the responsibilities of producers, importers and traders. The role of the state is also of great importance as controlling the preservation of those rights and responsibilities by a common supervision for lawfulness. The state regulation of the activity in the field of consumer policy is fulfilled by means of a respective normative ground and system of bodies, the vocation of which is to control the fulfillment of the requirements demanded by the legislation for protection of consumers by the subjects of commercial activity.
